For maximum flexibility and simplicity our pricing model for actor headshots uses a base cost session fee and a separate image purchase. For example, if you book a 1 look (15 minute) session the initial cost is $150. After the completion of your photo session you decide how many images your would like to purchase. Each digital image purchase is $25. If you choose to purchase 2 images – the total image cost is $50.

Session Fee: $150 + Image Purchase: $50 = Total Spend: $200

A look is the creative direction taken by your photographer. This can include style of light, background choice, colors, pose, and all other things that go into creating an engaging and cohesive actor headshot. A typical example of a 2 look session can include a look that is neutral and applicable to a wide variety or roles and the 2nd look can be geared towards a specific role

Typical deliverables are sent out within 3 business days of image selection and payment. If your casting director is in a hurry, we offer a rush delivery for an additional $50 fee. Rush delivery can be added during online booking checkout.

Great actor and actress headshots rely on convincing and authentic expressions, and once you start adding distractions like furniture and props you take away valuable composition space that make your actor headshot effective, so for this reason we stay away from props and furniture. However, we do use posing aids that help position your body and shoulders to look more natural on camera. Casting directors want to see you and your personality in the photos, this is not the time to hide behind a prop.

Actor headshot sessions are limited by time and look, please book a 2 look session if you would like to change outfits . Simple outfit changes like removing a jacket or glasses can easily be accommodated within a typical 15 minute (1 look) session.

Actor headshot sessions are limited by time, and typically there is not enough time within a 15 minute session to get great headshots and also great full body photos. Please upgrade during checkout to full body shots if you would also like to capture full length photos. If you are assembling an actor comp card it is highly recommended that you upgrade to full body photos.

Chaperones, friends, and well wishers are encouraged. However, multiple individuals cannot share a 1 look actor headshot booking. Please book separate sessions for more than 1 actor.

Actor headshots can sometimes allow us to flex our creative muscle with colors and background options. Our studio is very capable so we can accommodate most background requests. Specialty backgrounds like heritage brick are possible, however, require working from a separate facility which will incur additional fees.

Professional hair and make up is recommended, however, please keep in mind that excessive hair and make up for actor headshots is typically not a good idea, as most casting directors want to see the real you. The exception to the above is auditioning for roles that require a heavy make up look. Our typical sessions booked on the daily do not include hair and make up services, however, an artist can be arrange for you at additional expense. Please contact us if you would like to arrange a make up artist with your headshot session.
